How to identify
Small rodent with grey-brown fur and a lighter belly. Large ears and a long thin tail.
Typical habitat
Walls, attics, basements, pantries. Prefers warm spots near food sources.

Mice contaminate food with their droppings and urine. They can transmit salmonellosis, hantavirus and other diseases. Their gnawing damages electrical wires and can cause fires.
